Declaration of accessibility
G&H GmbH Rothschenk endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Strengthening Act (BFSGV). This declaration applies to https://covermio.de/.
Description of the service
We offer various pool and flood protection products for sale on our website. These include pool cushions for safe winter storage, accessories for pool covers and fixings, flood protection hoses and other useful accessories such as air pumps or clips, which can be ordered directly online.
We also run a blog in which we regularly publish information, tips and advice on our products and on the topics of pool maintenance, flood protection and possible applications.
How our website meets accessibility requirements
Status of compatibility with the requirements
Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the usual way, without any particular difficulty and generally without assistance.
Our website is largely compatible with the BFSG and the BFSGV. However, there are still some barriers on our pages that we are actively working on and want to remove in the future. The following exceptions and incompatibilities exist:
The following contents are not barrier-free as they are not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:
- There are links without link text on several pages.
- There are form fields without labels on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the form fields is difficult.
- There are buttons without labels on one side. It is difficult to navigate to the buttons with screen readers.
- There are invalid aria attribute values on several pages. These are not recognized by screen readers and are therefore not displayed correctly.
- On several pages, a superordinate element is missing the matching subordinate elements. This can confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but none is there.
- There are interactive elements on individual pages whose designation is not part of the labeling. This makes it difficult to control the website using voice control.
- On several pages there are elements whose Aria ID appears several times. This makes it difficult to navigate the website with screen readers.
