How do you attach the fastening set?
In the video, we explain how you should proceed and what you need to look out for. The wide 35 mm webbing is positioned and tensioned at the bottom of the pool. With steel frame pools (frame pools), this takes place underneath the curvature of the liner (it is created by the weight of the water and thus creates a kind of “belly”). Thread the small loops provided into the wide strap beforehand and position them at regular intervals around the pool – this will help you later when attaching the vertical straps. The final step is to thread the vertical straps through the loops and eyelets of your pool cover.
Set contents: We supply everything you need to winterize your pool perfectly with every set. In addition to the straps, for example, a sufficient number of universal sliding clips are included, which you can use to connect the vertical straps to your tarpaulin. This is particularly practical if your tarpaulin does not have eyelets or you want to make the position flexible (e.g. if a filter pump is in the way).

Is the PoolBelt also suitable for other pool sizes?
We have designed the PoolBelt sets for standard steel frame pools, so choose your pool size or use the dimensions of the horizontal webbing as a guide (see table). The system is suitable for smaller pools without any problems. For example, you can use the 3.66 m system for a pool with a diameter of 3.50 m. The horizontal band may then simply be a little too long.
However, the system can also be used for slightly larger pools, e.g. 3.66 m for 3.75 m. You can also use our extension strap for larger pools!
Please note: We only recommend this system for steel frame pools!
Steel wall pools do not have the “bulge” through which the lower strap is held (see pictures). With steel wall pools, the horizontal band slides upwards due to the vertical pull.
Outdoor fastening materials are exposed to all kinds of weather and have to withstand a lot. For this reason, we pay attention to high quality and use robust webbing and solid metal buckles. And best of all, we manufacture the fastening set for tarpaulins entirely in Germany.
