Traditionally, many campers use so-called wheel chocks to position the vehicle correctly. These wedges are placed in front of or behind the tires, and by slowly driving onto them, the vehicle is gradually raised until it reaches the desired height. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Our lifting cushion set comes standard with everything you need for trouble-free use. Included in the package are a handy bag for storing the pillow, an air compressor adapter if you want to inflate the pillow with a compressor, and a valve wrench to tighten the valve slightly if necessary. If, contrary to expectations, the pillow should ever become damaged, you can immediately restore it to working condition using the included repair kit —which consists of two patches and a special adhesive.
Step 1: Make sure the surface is free of sharp or pointed objects. We recommend using an additional underlay (e.g., anti-slip mat).
Step 2: Place the lifting bag in front of or behind the tire you want to lift and move the bag centrally on the rubberized surface. The tabs help you position the tire in the center.
Step 3: Open the valve cap and make sure the SUP valve is in the closed position before you start inflating it. If necessary, close the check valve by pressing in the spring and turning it to the left. This way, the air stays in the pillow as soon as you remove the pump after inflating it.
Step 4: Use our double-action pump or the compressor to inflate the lifting bag. It’s best to raise the vehicle a little higher and then release a small amount of air by briefly pressing the valve until you reach the perfect height and your vehicle is level.
